I know exactly what you mean since I'm going through the same questions. But unlike you who went the client/consulting road, I went the teaching road. But teaching only pays so much, so I'm actively seeking fulltime work. I really want to work in a communications role, inclusive of social media but not specific to it.

I wish you lots of kudos on your new venture and you give me a twinkling of hope that there's something for me too.

Hi Kat. Good question. Long story short is that my talents are better spent doing Social Media all day (which I love). Basically, I'd rather do social ALL DAY than manage my website, email lists, bill clients, meet new clients, do business development, etc. Make sense? I'm better as a social media than I am as an entrepreneur! (although I DID have a pretty good run... :-)

Congrats Tyson! I recently struggled with the same issue of "scaleability" in my own business and came to a similar decision. Feeling a little extra validated now having read this so thanks.
